Fashion designer Giles Deacon has been announced as P&G Fabric Care's first Global Fashion Consultant.

Deacon is to unveil a machine-washable capsule collection in Milan for the P&G Future Fabrics 2013 event in November, and advise P&G scientists on the potential of machine-washable fabric. He commented 'I'm interested in designs that work on the catwalk but also beyond the catwalk – they must be able to last and maintain their best'.
